I am in the summary page, looking at the "history" area. For example, I select "last month", and look at "denied users" pane, and click on a user. The denials report comes up for that user, but the period context does not match, and I have to manually switch it to "last month" and then reload. Can this be fixed, and the correct context be passed in?
Thanks,

Ah, I understand the problem.
Ah, I understand the problem. We use a different cookie on the home page to keep track of the report period. There was a good reason for this, but it is escaping my memory at the current moment. I'll see if this is something that we can merge at this point, but I feel that the home page design will soon change as well. We've received feedback that the current home page is somewhat confusing and doesn't add a lot of value (specially talking about the History section). Thoughts?

I think the focus on the home
I think the focus on the home page should be "what do I care about?" from the user's perspective. Perhaps an extract of what is contained on the "Views" tab needs to be enhanced/expanded, and presented as the home page as "My Home Page"? Possibly you could expand the view preference to include what users want to be alerted about and have a "My Alerts" or a "My Watermarks" pane.
On another note, perhaps you need to step back and look at the interface possibilities of the company as a whole.
What are the integration opportunities for creating the best and most productive user experience?
For example: What about WA as a plugin for the NC interface? Or is developmental effort best served by creating an overarching "RTDA" interface? I could view/access my bucket, jobs and sets, FT project status, my license alerts, my usage, etc. all on one page? Just ideas.....

One more idea for License Monitor Home Page
Brian,
Just one more thought. The alerts on the home page should have their own pane, with a scroll bar (sortable by severity, time, etc.). You should still be able to click on Alerts, and go into detail for administration, etc.
(This suggestion also holds valid for view of the NC home page.)
Just my US$ 0.02.

Klink, I think you have some
Klink, I think you have some good ideas here. Making the home page more of current status view of things is on our agenda. Your comments provide a good vision of what that might be. Thanks!
